More than 1 million antidrug booklets distributed by Scientologists in Cortina Olympics
Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has gone beyond over one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in just one month. The initiative forms part of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide accessible knowledge about commonly abused substances and their short- and long-term effects.
Approximately hundreds of volunteers across the country are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in cities, neighbourhoods and local businesses. The campaign focuses on raising awareness before drug use begins, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a clear way.
The campaign is connected to broader humanitarian initiatives supported news eurovision by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
